MAYBE
??

- Maybe God
wanted us to meet the wrong
people
- before
meeting the right one so that
- when we
finally meet the right person,
- we will
know
- how to be
grateful for that gift.
-
- Maybe when
the door of happiness closes another
opens,
- but often
times we look so
- long at
the closed door
- that we
don't see
- the one
which has been opened for us.
-
- Maybe the
best kind of friend is the kind
- you can
sit on a porch and swing with,
- never say
a word, and then walk away feeling
like
- it was
the
- best
conversation you've ever had.
-
- Maybe it
is true that we don't know what
we've
- got until
we lose it,
- but it is
also true
- that we
don't know what we have been
missing
- until it
arrives.
-
- Giving
someone all your love is never an
assurance
- that they
will love you back.
- Don't
expect love in return; just wait
- for it to
grow in their heart;
- but if it
doesn't, be content it grew in
yours.
-
- It takes
only a minute to get a crush on
someone,
- an hour to
like someone,
- and a day
to love someone,
- but it
takes a lifetime
- to forget
someone.
-
- Don't go
for looks; they can deceive.
- Don't go
for wealth; even that fades
away.
- Go for
someone who makes you smile
- because it
takes only a smile
- to make a
dark day seem bright.
-
- Find the
one that makes your heart smile.
- There are
moments in life
- when you
miss someone so much
- that you
just want to pick them from your
dreams
- and hug
them for real.
-
- Dream what
you want to dream;
- go where
you want to go; be what you want to
be,
- because
you have only one life and
- one chance
to do all the things
- you want
to do.
-
- May you
have enough happiness
- to make
you sweet,
- enough
trials to make you strong,
- enough
sorrow to keep you human,
- enough
hope to make you happy.
-
- Always put
yourself in others' shoes.
- If you
feel that it hurts you,
- it
probably hurts
- the other
person,
- too.
-
- The
happiest of people
- don't
necessarily have the best of
everything;
- they just
make the most
- of
everything that comes
- along
their way.
-
- Happiness
lives for those who cry, those who
hurt,
- those who
have searched, and those who have
tried,
- for only
they can appreciate the
- importance
of people
- who have
touched their lives.
-
-
- Love
begins with a smile,
- grows with
a kiss
- and
ends
- with
- a
tear.
-
- The
brightest future will always
- be based
on a forgotten past,
- you can't
go on well in life
- until you
let go
- of your
past failures and heartaches.
-
-
- When you
were born,
- you were
crying and everyone around you was
smiling.
- Live your
life so that
- when you
die,
- you are
the one who is smiling and
- everyone
around you is crying.*

-
- A woman
came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long
white
beards
sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize
them.
- She said,
"I don't think I know you, but you must be
hungry.
- Please
come in and have something to
eat."
- "Is the
man of the house home?", they asked. "No," she said,
"He's out."
- "Then we
cannot come in," they replied.
- In the
evening when her husband came home, she told him what had
happened.
- "Go tell
them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out
and invited the men in.
- "We do not
go into a House together," they
replied.
- "Why is
that?" she wanted to know. One of the old men
explained:
- "His name
is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and
said pointing to another one,
- "He is
Success, and I am Love."
- Then he
added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband
which
- one of us
you want in your home."
- The woman
went in and told her husband what was
said.
- Her
husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!," he said. "Since that
is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill
our home with wealth!"
- His wife
disagreed, "My dear, why don't we invite
Success?"
- Their
daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of
the house.
- She jumped
in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to
invite Love?
- Our home
will then be filled with love!" "Let us heed our
daughter-in-law's
- advice,"
said the husband to his wife.
- "Go out
and invite Love to be our
guest."
- The woman
went out and asked the 3 old
men,
- "Which one
of you is Love? Please come in and be our
guest."
- Love got
up and started walking toward the house. The other 2
also
- got up and
followed him.
- Surprised,
the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love,
why are you coming in?"
- The old
men replied together:
- "If you
had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us
would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever
he goes, we follow him.
- Wherever
there is Love, there is also Wealth and
Success!!!"
-
- MY WISH
FOR YOU...... Where there is pain, I wish you peace and
mercy.
- Where
there is self-doubting, I wish you a renewed' confidence
in your
- ability to
work through them.
- Where
there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I wish you
understanding,
- patience,
and renewed strength.
- Where
there is fear, I wish you love, and
courage.
-
- A STORY TO REMIND US
OF WHAT IS TRUELY IMPORTANT IN
LIFE
-
-
- The story
goes that some time ago a man punished his 5-year-old
daughter
- for
wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping
paper.
- Money was
tight and he became even more upset when the child pasted
the gold paper so as to decorate a box to put under the
Christmas tree.
-
- Nevertheless,
the little girl brought the gift box to her father
the
- next
morning and said,
- " This is
for you, Daddy."
-
- The father
was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his
anger
- flared
again when he found the box was
empty.
- He spoke
to her in a harsh manner, "Don't you know, young lady,
when you give someone a present there's supposed to be
something inside the package?"
-
- The little
girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and
said,
- Oh,Daddy,
it's not empty.
- I blew
kisses into it until it was
full."
-
- The father
was crushed.
- He fell on
his knees and put his arms around
his
- little
girl, and he begged her to forgive him for his
unnecessary anger.
-
- An
accident took the life of the child only a short time
later and it is
- told that
the father kept that gold box by his
bed
- for all
the years of his life.
- And
whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems
he
- would open
the box and take out an imaginary kiss
and
- remember
the love of the child who had put it
there.
-
- In a very
real sense, each of us as human beings have been given
a
- golden box
filled with unconditional love and
kisses
- from our
children, family, friends.
- There is
no more precious possession anyone could
hold.
-
- Friends
are like angels who lift us to our feet when our wings
have
- trouble
remembering how to fly.

- IT DOESN'T
INTEREST ME.....
- It doesn't
interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what
you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your
heart's longing?
-
- It doesn't
interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will
risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for
the adventure of being alive?
-
- It
doesn't interest me what sign you are. I want to know if
you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, have been
opened by life's betrayals or have become shrivelled and
closed from fear of further
pain?
-
- I want to
know of you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without
having to hide it, fade it or fix
it?
-
- I
want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if
you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you
to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning
us to be careful, to be realistic or to remember the
limitation of being human?
-
- It
doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is
true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be
true to yourself, if you can bear accusation of betrayal
and not betray your soul?
-
- I
want to know if you can be faithful and therefore trust
worthy? I want to know if you can see beauty even when it
is not pretty everyday, and if you can source your life
form its presence?
-
- I want to
know if you can live with failure, yours and mine and
still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the sliver
of the moon...YES!
-
- It
doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much
money you have. I want to know if you can get up after a
night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the
- bone and
do what needs to be done, for the
children?
-
- It doesn't
interest me who you are or how you came to be here. I
want to know if you can stand in the centre of the fire
with me and not shrink back?
-
- It
doesn't interest me what or where or with whom you have
studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside
when all else falls away?
-
- I
want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you
truly like the company you keep in empty
moments?
